Who wrote “On a sailboat, you know where you’re going when you’ve arrived<\/em>” ?<\/p>\n

Our next stopover was initially Port Tudy<\/strong><\/em>, on the island of Groix. But as is often the case, “dynamic<\/em>” management will take us to Camaret<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

There are two reasons for this.<\/p>\n

The reason for our stopover in Camaret<\/p><\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

The first, planned, is the need to find a dryer, the one on L’Aber Wrac’h not having worked. All our laundry was still soaked !<\/p>\n

The second, unforeseen, is an eyelet on a mainsail panel that was torn off during a false maneuver.<\/p>\n

As the Paradox sail panels are independent, we remove the damaged panel so we can take it in for repairs, and continue under the mizzen alone.<\/p>\n

Concerned about timing, we contact a sail repairman long before arriving, a rather unpredictable character who gives us an appointment that he will only honor several hours later, at his own convenience.<\/p>\n

Despite our growing doubts, the work is still done and the sail panel is brought back to us in the evening.<\/p>\n

\"Mussels<\/a>

Mussels have replaced fish & chips!<\/p><\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

At 8:30pm, the sail panel is put back in place, the laundry is finally dry, and we go celebrate with a plate of moules marini\u00e8re<\/em> in a restaurant in the port.
