A bright morning in Newlyn Harbour<\/p><\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

We have about a hundred miles to reach France<\/strong><\/em>.
\nNot wanting to arrive in the middle of the night, we set our departure for 5:00 p.m.
\nSo we have a good part of the day left to enjoy our last English stopover.<\/p>\n

Bruno and Christian, as is proper, go to the food refueling, while Eric and I replace all the masts steps nuts with stainless steel lock nuts bought from the tiny ship chandler in the harbour, at an unbeatable price compared to the prices charged by the ship chandlers of the big marinas.<\/p>\n

Along the seafront promenade, we set off on foot to visit the town of Penzance<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

The weather is beautiful and we enjoy strolling through the city streets.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

On the recommendation of Bruno and Christian, we return to Newlyn via the very pretty Penlee Park.<\/p>\n

The radiant sun and the lush vegetation maintain an almost exotic atmosphere, and it is in the orangery of a magnificent park that we have our lunch.<\/p>\n

After returning to the boat, we complete our customs formalities online again, and finally cast off at 5:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

A ferry passed behind us<\/p><\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

Here we are off for a beautiful night sail, and not the least since we are crossing the Channel<\/strong><\/em>, with its heavy maritime traffic.<\/p>\n

The engine is quickly turned off, and despite a somewhat rough sea we are fortunate to sail until our arrival.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The presence of cargo ships and ferries deserves close attention, but makes the navigation more lively.<\/p>\n
