Eric at the Malahide Castle<\/p><\/div>\n

The wind has picked up, but the boats are well moored and the sun is still there. At the end of the morning, Kevin, always keen not to let us get bored, takes us to Malahide Castle<\/strong><\/em>, where a large part of the ground floor is given over to the lounge and restaurant, and another to a large souvenir shop.<\/p>\n

In the train with Joe<\/p><\/div>\n

After having lunch there, we set off on foot to join Joe Conaghan at Malahide station.<\/p>\n

Joe, passionate, tirelessly comments on the landscapes we pass through by train.<\/p>\n

He enthusiastically takes us into the basements of the National Maritime Museum of Ireland<\/strong><\/em>, of which he is the president.<\/p>\n

He shows us rare literary works, explains the many elements of the museum, and tells us the history of the building which is a former sailors’ church.<\/p>\n

In the National Irish Maritime Museum<\/p><\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

We spend an afternoon rich in discoveries of the history of the navy.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

After the train ride back, we have a few beers at the pub, and order Asian take-aways, which will be our evening meal on the boat.<\/p>\n

A meeting is set for the next morning, for a final briefing on what will happen next, because the language difference sometimes plays tricks on our French minds!<\/p>\n
