Wednesday 4th<\/sup> September<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The weather is beautiful this morning. We head into town to do some shopping and drop off our dirty laundry at the harbour launderette.<\/p>\n

We have lunch on board Paradox, after which Kevin joins us and we plan, \u201cdynamically<\/em>\u201d, the course of the days to come.<\/p>\n

Ardgillan Castle<\/p><\/div>\n

Kevin then takes us to visit the superb site of the Ardgillan Castle<\/strong><\/em>. We discover a superb Victorian garden, magnificent greenhouses, impeccably maintained lawns with a beautiful opening onto the sea.<\/p>\n

We enjoy a quick tour of the castle, with a passionate guide speaking impeccable English (meaning: an English we understand!).<\/p>\n

Friendly evening at the Malahide Yacht Club<\/p><\/div>\n

The evening continues at the Malahide Yacht Club<\/strong><\/em>, in a warm atmosphere, with local musicians and where we make many friends.<\/p>\n

Among them, we meet Dorothy and Joe Conaghan<\/strong><\/em>, the couple who will host Christian, Bruno and his wife V\u00e9ronique during our stay.<\/p>\n

A bit of music with Dorothy !<\/p><\/div>\n

Dorothy often sails with Kevin.<\/p>\n

She is a musician and her violin is often with her.<\/p>\n

Joe, for his part, finds his passion in naval history, and spends most of his time researching at the\u00a0 National Maritime Museum<\/strong><\/em> in Dun Laoghaire, where he practically has his second home.<\/p>\n

That same evening, he invites us to accompany him there the next day.<\/p>\n
