The storm that was forecast is very real. We have to face the facts, the end of our trip is going to be seriously delayed. While we had planned to be in Soubise<\/strong> <\/em>the next day, we now do not plan to leave the port before Saturday.<\/p>\n

One last farewell drink, before Bruno’s departure<\/p><\/div>\n

Bruno leaves us… courageous smile.<\/p><\/div>\n

Bruno, with a heavy heart, has to resign himself to leaving us, having commitments on his side.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

After a solemn farewel drink, an employee of the harbor master’s office takes him to the Sables d’Olonne<\/strong><\/em> railway station, and our nostalgic crew is now reduced to 3 people.<\/p>\n

To kill time, we look at the boat’s obsolete and inoperative autopilot system. We conclude that although all the hardware is ok to keep, the supply of new software equipment is essential. We take the opportunity to dismantle the defective components and remove a few useless electrical cables.<\/p>\n

Around 5 p.m., we brave the wind and rain to go and see the state of the sea from the jetty.<\/p>\n

The evening meal is taken on board, and we cheer ourselves up with a glass of rum, playing Skyjo<\/strong><\/em> again, just the three of us!<\/p>\n
