Day 34, from l’Herbaudière to Bourgenay

Tuesday, 24th September

Motoring. We're killing time...

Motoring is boring…

We leave at 8:30 a.m., the 56 miles will be entirely covered by engine.

The Bourgenay visitors’ pontoon welcomes us at 5:30 p.m., to the infernal noise of an excavator reinforcing the rocks dike just above us.

This time, the weather forecast is more serious. Storm Aïtor makes it impossible to continue our navigation towards Soubise, our last stop, that we had planned to reach the following day.

We put off until tomorrow, “dynamically“, the decisions we will have to make depending on the situation.

My favorite restaurant, the Vintage, is closed, but we find a perfectly suitable tapas bar for the evening meal.
