It’s Véronique’s turn to leave us. While Bruno accompanies her to the airport, the rest of the crew goes shopping to complete the supplies.
The weather is still mild, and we leave with Kevin to visit Dublin.
We have booked a boat trip on the city’s river and canals.
From brave sailors, here we are relegated to the modest rank of tourists, while the red flat boat with panoramic roof glides on the river where we had so proudly paraded three days earlier.
Kevin jokes: “Imagine, if all the bridges were open and we could sail through Dublin with our own boats …”.
This time, the pretty Seán O’Casey footbridge (pedestrian and bicycle bridge) will not need to open to let the small, ultra-flat boat pass.
After this informative mini-cruise, we stroll around town.
We admire some remarkable architecture, before reaching the station and returning to Malahide.
