Day 12, first evening in Malahide

Monday, September 2nd

Paradox moored, introductions are made, handshakes and warm hugs.

In addition to the pleasure of meeting again Kevin Cardiff, whom Eric and I already know since he is the president of the Junk Rig Association, we have the pleasure of being welcomed by Alan Mulholland, who, aboard his small 6.50m junk Wave Rover II, built by himself, has just crossed the Atlantic from Prince Edward Island, Canada, via Baltimore, USA. An astonishing character, as energetic as he is friendly, whom we will have the opportunity to speak about again.

This great atmosphere continues very quickly in one of the pubs of the pretty town of Malahide.

Despite the late hour, the city still resonates with a warm atmosphere.

Kevin quickly organizes a late meal around beers and sandwiches.

A super welcome for our arrival, the beginnings of a pleasant stay in Ireland.
